Self-Help Tip #8: Commit Random Acts of Kindness

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT Medical advice. Please read disclaimers.

Do you enjoy doing "unprovoked altruistic acts conducted with the sole intention of brightening someone else's day"? When trying to share kindness, I try to DISCERN:

  1. My intentions - ("don't expect gratitude")
  2. If it will truly be helpful or empowering to the other person

What are YOUR favorite random acts of kindness?

  • Giving a generous tip
  • Feeding someone's expired parking meter
  • Donating to someone's charity/ fundraiser
  • Buying a gift from someone's baby registry . . .
  • Or, it doesn't have to involve money . . . It could be a smile, or holding an elevator for someone rushing to catch it.

Speaking of random . . .

WHY am I including this photo of the singer "Lil Nas X" with a fake pregnant belly? Because he leveraged the publicity for the "birth" of his album "Montero" - to create a "baby registry" - calling attention to causes and organizations he supports.

Wishing you random kindness . . .

 ☮️ & ❤️,

 Shannon
